A pair of transparent, lustrous, sharply crystallized, yellow calcites to 4 cm long perched on matrix. There is a small abrasion on the tip of the crystal on the left. Very aesthetic example from the Trend! Size: 3.6 x 1.9 x 3.5 cm.

MB-1835 - Malachite stalactite
Jogongshan, Hunan Province, China

A doubly terminated, velvety green malachite stalactite perched on top of another stalk of lighter-colored malachite. This malachite can hold its own against those from most anywhere but it is especially good for China, where these are uncommon. Size: 4.5 x 2.5 x 2.0 cm.

Cerro Prieto, Sonoro, Mexico

Brilliant orange, botryoidal mimetite covering one side of matrix with minor orange wulfenite in association. Very colorful and somewhat rare on the specimen market. Cerro Prieto is an important locality for orange mimetite. Size: 4.7 x 3.3 x 5.5 cm.

CB-1958 - Okenite on Quartz var. Amethyst
Shirdi, west of Nasik, Maharashtra, India

Basalt matrix with a cavity lined with glassy amethyst crystals. There are several puffballs of dense radial sprays of fibrous white okenite crystals to 2 cm in diameter nicely perched on the amethyst. The combination of amethyst with okenite is a rare association. Very attractive and no damage to the okenites. Size: 9.6 x 7.0 x 5.1 cm.
