Sparkling, botryoidal brown mimetite on a bed of colorless, rhombic calcite crystals and limonite. The mimetite is clean and exhibits good luster. Some damage to a few of the mimetite balls on the right side but could be trimmed into a very good miniature. Size: 8.5 x 4.7 x 4.3 cm.

Large, transparent, colorless Japan-law twin quartz crystal with a terminated, untwinned crystal at the base. A choice example of this kind of twinning in quartz that's not as common as many people think! Stands up for display on its own. Size: 7.8 x 2.8 x 6.0 cm.

Beautiful specimen of silky, pink, botryoidal smithsonite with very good luster. The smithsonite also exhibits iridescence resulting in green and yellow highlights as you move the piece in the light. A Mexican classic! Size: 6.4 x 3.75 x 2.5 cm.

CB-1553 - Calcite (with phantoms) and Chalcopyrite
Milliken Mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds County, Missouri

Beautiful cluster of lustrous, undamaged, scalenohedral calcite crystals to 8.6 cm in length on matrix with a scattering of iridescent purple chalcopyrite crystals. The calcites exhibit distinct phantoms that are lined with tiny chalcopyrite crystals within the calcites. From recent mining, this is an amazing specimen reminiscent of the famous find in the early 1970s! Size: 5.5 x 4.5 x 8.6 cm.
