Huanzala Mine, Dos de Mayo Province, Huanuco Department, Peru

Gemmy green, transparent, lustrous cubo-octahedral fluorite crystals measuring to 1.6 cm across with a nice spray of frosted white calcite crystals perched on the fluorites. The calcites fluoresce bright red under UV light. Size: 5.5 x 4.1 x 5.1 cm.

Highway 17 Road cut, Rossport, Ontario, Canada

Very aesthetic and colorful specimen of white quartz crystals cradling translucent to transparent, cubic crystals of magenta-colored fluorite to 0.9 cm on matrix. From last year's find. Size: 6.4 x 4.3 x 3.2 cm.

Halls Gap Road cut, Lincoln County, Kentucky

Small geode with a shallow vug lined with acicular crystals of bright, metallic, brassy yellow millerite. This locality is off limits to collectors now. Very good example of this nickel sulfide. Size: 3.6 x 2.4 x 3.3 cm.

Jelly-like, pale yellow to clear opal covering the front of a white matrix with a few acicular, black schorl tourmaline crystals. Fluoresces bright green under UV light. Neat! Size: 5.1 x 3.0 x 6.1 cm.

Lovely matrix specimen with sharp, grass green, barrel-shaped pyromorphite crystals to 6 mm in length. From the find of 2000 - 2001. These have become scarce. Nice! Size: 1.9 x 3.3 x 4.2 cm.

A glassy, colorless, transparent quartz crystal with a very large, uncommon s-face. The s-face has unusual growth patterns on the surface. Minor chipping on the crystal termination does not detract. Ex. Robert Linck Collection. Size: 3.0 x 2.5 x 6.4 cm.

MB-1585 - Quartz with Hedenbergite inclusions
Sinerechenskoye Mine, Dal'negorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia

A very fine and sharp 4.0 cm quartz crystal infused with green hedenbergite on a matrix of small, red andradite garnets. The base of the crystal is intersected by a second smaller, doubly terminated quartz crystal. The quartz crystals have good luster. Great aesthetics! Size: 4.3 x 4.0 x 6.8 cm.

Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia

A beautiful, undamaged smithsonite specimen from Tsumeb featuring brilliant, lustrous, translucent, pink rhombohedral crystals to 8 mm in length with good separation and evenly distributed over matrix. This is a good one! Size: 6.0 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm.

CC-1602 - Topaz with Bixbyite
Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah

An excellent and undamaged combination specimen featuring a 2.3 cm glassy, translucent, sharply terminated, sherry-colored topaz crystal with three lustrous, metallic black, cubic bixbyite crystals to 3 mm (one is a penetration twin) perched on the topaz, all on a rhyolite matrix. There are two other bixbyite crystals and a smaller pair of topaz crystals as well. Matrix specimens are uncommon. This is the type locality for bixbyite. Previous dealer's price was $550.00. Size: 6.3 x 7.5 x 8.8 cm.
