Fine plate of crossite and white natrolite hosting lustrous, glassy, black neptunite crystals, to 1.9 cm in length. Some of the crystals are doubly terminated. Choice specimen of this rare silicate that sits up perfectly for display! Size: 7.8 x 2.2 x 3.7 cm.

Translucent, gemmy, equant, crystallized petalite with an etched surface resulting in irregular, reflective faces. Petalite is an uncommon lithium aluminum silicate. Size: 6.2 x 4.2 x 3.6 cm.

ES-111 - Quartz var. Rose Quartz
Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil

An unusual cluster of glassy, pale pink quartz crystals with no matrix. The crystals are arranged side by side in a vertical formation and many are doubly terminated. There is a contact on the lower left side of the specimen where it was removed from matrix. Size: 4.7 x 3.0 x 5.9 cm.

ES-22 - Serandite with Aegerine on Analcime
Mont St-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada

Cluster of opaque, white analcime crystals serve as the matrix for salmon-pink blades of serandite to 2.5 cm long sprinkled with sprays of lustrous white natrolite crystals to 1.6 cm long. Frozen in the analcime is a singly terminated, vitreous, black aegerine crystal 2.3 cm long with other unterminated aegerine crystals. Contacts on the left side and bottom where the specimen was removed from matrix. Size: 4.3 x 4.5 x 5.2 cm.

Morro Velho Mine, Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, Brazil

Lustrous, sharp, translucent, tan-green siderite crystals to 2.7 cm long topped off with a crown of colorless, lustrous, translucent dolomite crystals to 1.6 cm across from this gold mine in the southeast region of Brazil. An attractive specimen with good color! Size: 5.6 x 3.5 x 7.1 cm.

Good matrix specimen hosting a cluster of glassy, well-formed, hexagonal, yellow weloganite crystals to 1.1 cm long. Two of the weloganite crystals are incomplete but the main crystal is perfect. From the type and only locality (now closed) for this extremely rare species. Sits up perfectly for display. Size: 6.1 x 4.6 x 3.4 cm.
