MB-1980 - Kinoite and Apophyllite
Christmas Mine, Gila County, Arizona
Matrix mostly covered on one side with lustrous, royal blue kinoite crystals and sparkling, colorless, transparent apophyllite. The color of kinoite is quite unique compared to other blue copper minerals such as linarite and azurite. Kinoite is a rare hydrated calcium copper silicate and the best specimens come from the Christmas Mine. No damage. Size: 4.5 x 2.1 x 3.8 cm.

MB-1446 - Lepidocrocite in Quartz with Smoky Phantom
Brandberg Mountains, Namibia
A magnificent, transparent, colorless, doubly terminated quartz crystal with a distinct smoky quartz phantom in one end and scattered inclusions of bright red lepidocrocite in the other end! A smaller terminated quartz crystal supports the main crystal. A very showy quartz crystal with excellent luster and internal clarity. Ex. Charlie Key Collection. Size: 6.3 x 2.2 x 2.6 cm.

MB-1522 - Manganite
Ilfeld, Harz Mountains, Germany (Type Locality)
Well-developed, sub-metallic black, striated crystals of manganite to 1.2 cm in length (although most are smaller) on a matrix of massive manganite. The crystals exhibit good luster and are undamaged. A good miniature sized specimen from this famous, long exhausted, classic locality that produced the world's best specimens for the species! Size: 6.0 x 4.3 x 3.3 cm.

From one of the more interesting new finds from Bolivia last year is this beautiful specimen of very bright, shiny pyrite with crystals to 1 cm in diameter.
