TA-1518 - Fluorite
Walworth Quarry, Walworth, New York

An elongated, colorless, water-clear cube of fluorite perched on a small bit of dolomitic matrix. Damage is restricted to contacting at the lower front portion of the crystal where it was removed from matrix. There are a few natural fractures in the crystal that create some really neat veils that reflect the light nicely. These are much sought after and difficult to collect as the rock they are found in is very hard. Size: 1.9 x 2.2 x 1.9 cm.
